The Story Behind the Bags:The Journey from Mat to Masterpiece

Hi, this is Merle the M of OLM and the owner and designer. I like to remind everyone about OlovesM bags:)

Every great product has a story, and ours began with a simple question: "What if?"What if we could turn waste into wonder? What if- yoga mats that were headed for landfills could be used and upcycled into bags?

What if we could create fashion that doesn't cost the earth? These questions led me on a journey that resulted in OLovesM Bags

Picture this: The idea "popped" into my head while in yoga class, I got off my mat drove hime and started cutting my own yoga mat, used duct tape ( who doesn't love duct tape!!) and for the strap I braided 3 plastic grocery bags- that was the forst proto-type!! From there I did a TON of research and found an amazing person to help me sew and also help home craftspeople to also sew at home.

 Each bag is a labor of love, a testament to American craftsmanship and ingenuity

My passion for sustainability and fashion shines through in every design. When you carry an OLovesM bag, you're not just carrying a purse – you're carrying a piece of the OlovesM dream.
